Biography

Mr. Eli Simon has served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Investments at Simon Property Group (the “Company”) since 2019. He is responsible for implementing the Company’s ongoing investment strategy, including focus on new business sourcing, strategic corporate investments, and the execution of real estate transactions.  

Mr. Simon also oversees Simon Brand Ventures, Simon's business-to-consumer initiative as well as overseeing Simon’s Innovation Group which is focused on emerging technologies and merging the best physical and digital concepts to create an interactive retail marketplace and enhance the consumer shopping experience.

Mr. Simon served as director and Chief Executive Officer of Simon Property Group Acquisition Holdings, Inc. and currently actively serves on the boards of Taubman Realty Group and Jamestown LP.  Before joining the Company, Mr. Simon was Principal and Head of North American Lodging at Och-Ziff Capital Management and Och-Ziff Real Estate (collectively now Sculptor Capital Management), where he oversaw all lodging-related investments, including asset and portfolio acquisitions, operating company investments, and lending opportunities.

Mr. Simon obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and MBA, each from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
